• About Me

My childhood was spent in Brooklyn, NY, surrounded by educators, advocates and mental health professionals. These early experiences heavily influenced my educational and professional interests and pursuits.

My undergraduate studies were focused on Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology. I then continued on to receive a degree in Education as well as attain certifications in the areas of Postpartum Doula work and Family Advocacy.

I have lived and worked in New York City, Portland, Maine, Santiago, Chile and Oahu, Hawaii. I have spent the past 30 years working with and supporting individuals and families from all walks of life; of different ages, as they maneuver through their unique family structures.

20 years ago, I returned to the Northwest where I currently live with my husband and teenage son. I continue my work collaborating with and supporting parents, caregivers, extended family members and children as they navigate the never-ending and all-encompassing quest to be happy, healthy human beings.

"Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don't know something, and to learn something new"
